The Philadelphia Flyers return to Wells Fargo Center tonight after their Disney on Ice induced roadtrip with a massive rivalry game against the Pittsburgh Penguins . The hated Pens are bringing a nine-game win streak into South Philly and the NHL isn’t putting the game on TV.

Yup, tonight’s Flyers-Pens matchup is an ESPN+ Hockey Night exclusive. No regular TV for you!

The World Wide Leader and the NHL made ESPN+ exclusive games part of the new media rights contract. But it’s an odd move take TV viewers away from a rivalry game and force them to the stream.

ESPN will air Wild-Bruins on the main network at 7:00 PM. Frankly, Wild-Bruins seems more appropriate for a streaming only game.
